What are your service times and where are you located?
On Sunday mornings, we offer Sunday School at 9am followed by some fellowship time at 10am. Our worship service starts at 10:30am. We are located at 1527 N. Blackburn Ave in York, Nebraska. What should I expect on Sunday mornings?
First expect to be warmly greeted. We are glad that you chose to join us for worship. Our services typically go from 10:30am to 11:45am. During that time, expect to experience congregational worship in song where we sing the truth of God's word. We also worship through the preaching of the word. Expect to have the text of Scripture exposed and applied but also expect to be challenged to apply the truth of God's word to your life.
What should I wear?
We have people that attend Arbor Drive that come in everything from a suit and tie to jeans and a tee shirt. Feel free to come and join us in whatever you are comfortable wearing.
How do become a member at Arbor drive?
Every believer should be a member of a local church. We tell people that we want you to be a member at the church you believe God has called you to and where you will grow spiritually. If that's Arbor Drive, then fill out the contact form on our website and let us know you are interested in membership. You can also email arbordriveinfo@gmail.com or call the office at (402) 362-3491. One of our pastors will meet with you and talk about what church membership is and answer any questions you might have.
I noticed you don't pass the plate. How can I give financially?
We offer 3 ways to give. If you want to give by cash or check, you can mail your check into the office (please seal it in a giving envelope available on the giving boxes) or you can drop your gift off in a giving box. Giving boxes are located by each entrance to the worship center.
If you prefer to give electronically, you can click here or text the amount you want to give to 84321. Online and text giving are convenient but also safe and secure.
How can I keep up on what's happening at Arbor Drive?
The easiest way to up to date on what’s happening is either through our Facebook page or this website. We also have a welcome desk in the main lobby outside the worship center where you can get information.
How can I catch a sermon I missed?
You can listen to sermons through the player on our home page, by finding us on iTunes (here), or by visiting us on YouTube (here).
How do I check my child into Nursery?
The nursery check in station is located at the entrance to the nursery (down the long hall by the old chapel). Simply enter your name or phone number and check your child in. If you are new, you will need fill out a quick form the first time you check your child in. There will be a nursery volunteer there to help you if needed.
When do you celebrate Communion?
We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month.
When and where is Sunday School?
Sunday School is offered on Sunday mornings starting at 9am during the school semesters for all ages. The adult Sunday School class meets in Classroom B on the west side of the worship center. The High School/Middle School class meets in Classroom A. Children's Sunday School is in the basement (down the steps from the office lobby). The Nursery is located across from the old chapel and is available during Sunday School.
What are Discipleship Communities?
Discipleship communities are our small groups and they meet at various times/days throughout the month. The aim of Discipleship Communities is to build relationships that point one another to Christ and the gospel outside of Sunday mornings.
